Trying to find my place in the world

This blog is going to be about my trials and errors, my ups and downs, and generally trying to find my place in life in 2012 and beyond.

I think that I know what my passions are, but the steps to get that(those) places in life are a challenge for me. I have lots of decisions to make and I think that I may honestly just be one of the most apprehensive decision makers in the world. I decided to start this blog in attempt to become a better writer, become more comfortable with sharing my thoughts on a public forum, and maybe eventually getting feedback and advice from the world. Or at least find some other people to relate to.

It is going to be about my personal life, but my goal is for a lot of the material to be about the changes I want to see in the world. I don’t necessarily want to change everyone’s mind to think the same way that I do, but I want people to become inspired to look at things in a different way. I want them to realize how many perspectives there are in the world.

I don’t want to brand this blog as being completely travel-based, but I want to touch on a few of the experiences I’ve had in my writings. I want to talk about finding a job and career as a 25 year old. I want to use this blog to organize my thoughts, share both my life struggles and achievements and share the musings of others. I want to learn more about how internet communities can come together and feel the nakedness that exposing yourself through this medium brings about.

I am excited to have this outlook right now, but also completely scared too. I’m not sure what will come out of me in the end, but that is all part of the excitement.

Looking forward to the future.

  1. I’m glad you commented on my blog today, because I got to visit your newborn blog, and congratulate you, and cheer you on. I’ve been doing it for two years, one post a day. It won’t make you rich, but it can be fulfilling, and a lot of fun. I hope you have fun doing it too.
